A football uniform has to do something no other team kit does: fit over shoulder pads, resist being grabbed for four quarters, and take contact on every single play. Axis Sportswear is a cut & sew American football uniforms manufacturer producing game jerseys, practice jerseys, integrated and slotted pants, and full team packages for high school and college programmes, semi-pro clubs, European leagues and teamwear brands across the USA and Europe.
Everything is made to your spec — the knit weight, the position cut, the stretch panel placement, the pad pocket layout, the twill layering and the branding. Numbers and nameplates are produced in-house, so a full roster arrives sorted, bagged and labelled by player. Minimums start at 50 pieces per style, tech pack development is free, and your first sample ships in 10–14 days.
Three things decide whether a football order works: the design, the fit over pads, and how the numbering holds up. We settle all three before production starts.
Send a tech pack, a sketch, Pantone references, or last season’s uniform. Our design team returns a production-ready mockup showing panel construction, stretch insert placement, collar and sleeve treatment, striping, and the exact size and position of every number, nameplate and patch. You approve the artwork before sampling begins.
This is where most suppliers stop thinking. A receiver wants a tight skill cut with a compression body and stretch side panels, so there is nothing loose for a defender to grab. A lineman needs a lineman cut — wider through the chest and shoulder to clear larger shoulder pads, with a longer body that stays tucked. Selling one block to both positions is why half a roster ends up unhappy. We grade both, plus a practice cut and a women’s block, from youth through adult 4XL.
Order the full package or just the pieces you need. Everything below can be produced in the same colorway and production batch, so the home, away, and practice sets match exactly.
Compression-fit jerseys in 200–230 GSM poly-spandex with four-way stretch side and underarm panels. Cut close to the body so there's less for a defender to hold, with a reinforced shoulder yoke where pads take the most contact.
Wider through the chest and shoulder to clear larger pads, with a longer body and reinforced hem. Built in a heavier 230–260 GSM knit because linemen put more strain on a jersey than any other position on the field.
Full-print jerseys where the design uses gradients, fades, camo, all-over patterns or complex striping that twill can't reproduce. Graphics are bonded into the fabric with nothing to peel — with twill numbers applied over the top if your rulebook requires stitched numerals.
Football fabric has two jobs most sportswear never faces: surviving repeated contact and resisting being pulled. Weight and stretch recovery decide both. Here’s our football-specific range with real figures, so you can match the spec to your level and your budget. Ask for a physical swatch pack before committing to a full program order.
Finishes available: moisture-wicking treatment · anti-odor finish · anti-pill treatment · UPF 50+ for August camp · reinforced bar-tacking · laser-cut ventilation · custom dyeing for exact color matching.
A club ordering forty jerseys and a distributor supplying a conference have completely different problems, and one rigid minimum serves neither. We scale to the order in front of us, and because we are the factory there is no trading house margin between you and the price.
50 pieces per style and colourway, with sizes mixed freely inside that quantity — youth through adult 4XL, across skill and lineman cuts, in a single order.
Per-unit cost drops at 200, 500, 1,000 and 2,500 units. Multi-team and programme-wide orders are quoted as a single volume even when the designs differ between squads.
Produce all three in the same batch and share the artwork setup, twill and freight cost instead of paying it three times over.

Nothing that leaves our floor carries our name. Whether you’re a teamwear brand reselling under your own label or a programme running a team store, the order arrives ready for your shelf.
For EU-bound orders we supply fibre composition labelling in the required languages, REACH-compliant trim declarations and OEKO-TEX certified fabric options on request. Ask for the documentation pack at quotation stage rather than at the border. More on our private label service.
A single semi-pro club, a school running varsity, JV and freshman squads, and a distributor supplying a conference are three different jobs, and one rigid minimum serves none of them. Start at 50 pieces per kit for one team, scale to 500 as the program expands, and move to scheduled seasonal production once your volumes become predictable. Because your patterns and twill artwork are on file, every reorder — including three mid-season replacement jerseys — skips development entirely and goes straight into production.

Football punishes decoration harder than almost any team sport. Here’s what holds — see all our printing methods.
Layered polyester twill, stitched down with a zig-zag or satin stitch. The most durable numbering available and the traditional football standard. Adds weight and reduces stretch, so it suits double-knit and heavier lineman jerseys better than lightweight compression knits.
Graphics bonded permanently into polyester. No weight, nothing to peel, and no effect on how a stretch jersey moves — which is why it's usually the right answer on skill-position compression jerseys. Works only on light base fabrics, so dark designs are printed rather than dyed.
Cost-effective for bold logos on practice jerseys, sideline wear and team merchandise at volume. Not recommended for game numbers.
Premium and durable for team marks, captaincy patches and staff wear. On heavy knits we back the stitch so it sits flat and doesn't pull the fabric.
Thin and flexible, suitable for small sharp text, sponsor marks and practice jersey numbering. We do not recommend single-layer vinyl for game numbers — contact abrasion lifts it inside a season.
Conference badges, memorial patches and sponsor marks. Supplied applied or loose.
