Every legging brand lives or dies on two things: whether the fabric stays opaque under load, and whether the waistband stays put through a session. Get those wrong, and no amount of branding saves the return rate.
Axis Sportswear is a custom leggings manufacturer and wholesale supplier producing high-waisted, seamless, and printed women’s leggings for fitness brands, boutique studios, and retailers across the USA, UK, and Europe. Nylon-spandex at 200–260 GSM, four-way stretch, gusseted crotch, flatlock seams built to your fit block, your colorway, your labels. With 15+ years of manufacturing and 500+ brands supplied in 40+ countries, we start from 50 pieces per style.
Leggings are the hardest garment in activewear to get right. The margin between “she reorders” and “she returns it” sits in details most suppliers don’t discuss.
Opacity comes from fabric weight, knit density, and dye penetration — not from marketing language. We build your leggings in 200–260 GSM nylon-spandex and confirm opacity under stretch on your pre-production sample, before bulk. You see it before you commit to it.
High-waisted compression, mid-rise, V-back contour, or wide flat-lock band — you specify the rise, the band height, and the elastic tension. Hidden key pockets, side phone pockets, and drawcord options all available.
Gusseted crotch for range of motion and seam durability. Flatlock stitching so seams sit flat against skin without chafing. Four-way stretch with recovery, so they hold shape at wash fifty, not just wash five.
The core seller. Compression waistband, full-length or 7/8 inseam, tummy-control panel optional.
Knitted on circular seamless machines for a second-skin fit with zoned ribbing and minimal seam lines.
All-over graphics on poly-spandex. Camo, marble, geometric, custom repeat prints color-bonded into the fiber.
Side cargo pockets, hidden waistband pockets, or dual phone pockets sized to actual phones. Center-seam scrunch detailing and contour paneling for shaping-focused ranges.
Leggings ask more of fabric than any other activewear piece: stretch in four directions, recovery after every rep, and opacity that holds up under load. Here’s what we run, and what each is actually for:
Nylon-Spandex (200–260 GSM) the premium standard. Buttery hand-feel, strong recovery, best opacity. Our default for high-waisted gym leggings.
Poly-Spandex (190–240 GSM) the only route to full sublimation printing. Choose this if your range is print-led rather than solid-color.
Seamless Knit (200–240 GSM) circular-knitted with zoned compression and ribbing built into the structure. Minimal seams, second-skin fit.
Brushed Nylon-Spandex (240–280 GSM) soft brushed inner face with extra warmth. Built for cold-weather markets in Northern Europe and Canada.
Recycled Nylon / rPET (200–260 GSM) same performance with sustainability credentials, increasingly expected by EU retailers.
We manufacture in-house. No trading-company margin sitting on your unit cost.
Enough to test a colourway or launch a capsule without tying up capital in unsold stock. Sizes mix freely across the full run at no extra charge.
Rates are tiered by quantity and improve significantly at higher volumes. Annual contracts and seasonal repeat programmes get preferential pricing on top.
Design, tech packs, and mockups are free. Screen printing and embroidery may carry a one-time setup charge — always shown upfront in your quote, never added later.

US, UK, and EU sizing conventions differ — a UK 12 is not a US 12, and grading a single chart across all three produces returns.
Private label vs OEM: private label means we produce our existing legging blocks under your branding. OEM means we develop an original pair of leggings to your specifications — your own pattern, fit, and construction, made exclusively for you. We do both.
We understand that different businesses have different production needs, which is why we offer flexible order quantities. Whether you are starting with a smaller batch or placing a large-scale order, we accommodate your requirements without unnecessary limitations. Our pricing structure is designed to scale with your order size, allowing you to manage costs effectively while growing your business. This flexibility makes it easier for both startups and established brands to work with us confidently.
No surprises, no middlemen, no guessing about where your order is. Here’s exactly how we work:
Quick, clear response to your inquiry. Reach out and our team replies within 24 hours with the right questions and next steps.
We learn your colors, logo, fabric preference, sizing and deadline, then build a print-ready mockup.
You get clear, quantity-based pricing up front — no hidden costs.
We produce a sample for you to review and approve before the full run. We match your exact Pantone/hex colors at this stage.
Once you approve, we manufacture your order and align delivery to your season or event deadline.
Every piece is inspected, then finished with your brand label and packaging.
Your order ships sorted and labeled, with tracking — and we follow up to make sure you’re happy.
Different teams need different finishes. We offer every major decoration method in-house:
All-over prints on poly-spandex. Bonded into the fibre — cannot peel or crack under stretch.
Logos on nylon-spandex, where sublimation won't bond. Stretch-compatible films.
Small waistband or thigh logos. Backing must be chosen carefully so it doesn't restrict stretch.
Stretch inks for bold graphics on larger runs.
Raised branding for premium and streetwear-crossover ranges.
Waistband labels, care labels, tagless heat-seal for chafe-free finishing.
Tell us your style, fabric, and quantity — we’ll get back to you within 24 hours with pricing and a free digital mockup.
We manufacture premium custom sportswear, activewear, and team uniforms for brands worldwide, combining high-quality fabrics, full customization, and reliable wholesale production.
